The Coolpix P100 is Well Worth the Price
The Nikon Coolpix P100 is a very classy superzoom camera that would make any photographer happy. At ten medapixels and a eye popping 26x optical zoom are made even more impressive by the vibration reduction. This adds up to a very impressive camera.

Having Problems Compiling PHP with MySQL on Snow Leopard
So, like every other Mac fanboy, I took to my Macbook this weekend and installed Snow Leopard. Right off I noticed that MySQL 5.0.37 was no longer working. So, on the advice of some others on the intertubes, I went over to mysql.com and grabbed the latest 5.1 x86 package, which did the trick.
Now, for the problems… When I went to re-compile PHP on my macbook the ./configure would fail at the MySQL section. After reading PHP's config.log it turns out that my new MySQL package was compiled with an older version of gcc, confusing Snow Leopard's gcc complier. So, I think I am just going use the bundled PHP 5.3 module until MySQL releases a packaged specifically compiled with the OS X 10.6 gcc. I am sure it will be a week or two.
Otherwise, if that simply isn't an option, I believe macports has a MySQL package. This would probably take care of the issue, given macports will compile MySQL with Snow Leopard's gcc compiler.
